Cubic is proud to have worked on the film 'Dawn of the Great Steppe' for Kazakhfilm film studio.
The film tells the story of Kassym Khan, the son of one of the founders of the Kazakh Khanate, whose reign took place during the heyday of the state in the 15th and 16th centuries. He is considered the first leader to unite the Kazakh tribes.

Working closely with director Akhan Satayev, our VFX team created a standout CG army of nomads and sumptuous ancient Turk cities. This required us to delve into the history and architecture of the period in order to accurately portray it in the film.
